Shipping costs are finalized once the pool reaches MOQ for accurate pricing.

Multiple Options

DDP, FOB, Air, Sea - supplier provides options after MOQ is reached.

Why is shipping finalized only after the pool fills?

Shipping depends on:

  • Final total quantity
  • Destination countries of buyers
  • Packaging size and weight
  • Available shipping methods

Once the MOQ is reached, the supplier confirms the best shipping options and costs. This ensures accurate pricing instead of guesswork.

What is DDP shipping?

DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) means:

  • The supplier arranges shipping
  • Customs clearance is handled
  • Duties and taxes are included (where specified)
  • Delivery is made to your address

DDP is the most convenient option and is commonly used for small and medium goods.

What is FOB shipping?

FOB (Free On Board) means:

  • The supplier delivers goods to the departure port
  • Shipping beyond that point is arranged by a freight forwarder
  • Import duties and customs are handled in your country

FOB is often cheaper but requires more coordination.

What is EXW?

EXW (Ex Works) means:

  • The buyer (or their forwarder) handles shipping from the supplier's location
  • Customs, freight, and delivery are managed by the buyer's logistics partners

This option is mainly used by experienced importers.

How do I know which shipping term applies?

After the pool fills, the supplier provides shipping options such as:

  • DDP
  • FOB
  • Air freight
  • Sea freight

You'll see what is included (taxes, duties, clearance) before proceeding.

Why can't shipping be fixed upfront?

International shipping changes based on:

  • Total shipment volume
  • Fuel rates
  • Airline or vessel availability
  • Customs requirements

Finalizing after MOQ ensures fair and accurate costs.

Are duties and taxes included?

It depends on the term:

  • DDP → usually included
  • FOB/EXW → paid locally by the buyer

The shipping option will clearly state what's covered.

Who handles delivery and tracking?

Shipping is carried out by:

  • The supplier's logistics partner, or
  • A freight forwarder or carrier

Tracking is shared once goods are dispatched.

Can I cancel if shipping terms don't suit me?

Yes! If the supplier cannot provide a suitable shipping option, support will assist before the order proceeds. You can opt out anytime if shipping is too expensive, and your payment authorization will be released - no money will be captured.

Why does MOQ Pools not act as the shipper?

MOQ Pools coordinates group purchasing. Shipping is executed by suppliers and logistics providers according to the selected shipping term.
