Shipping Policy
Last updated: January 2026
MOQ Pools coordinates group purchasing. Shipping is carried out by suppliers and logistics partners according to the shipping terms confirmed after a pool reaches its Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ).
1. When Shipping Is Confirmed
Shipping options and final costs are determined after the pool fills and the supplier confirms:
- Total shipment quantity
- Packaging size and weight
- Destination countries of buyers
- Available shipping methods
This ensures accurate shipping pricing based on real shipment details.
2. Shipping Methods
Shipping methods depend on the product and supplier capabilities. Common methods include:
| Method | Description | Typical Use |
|---|---|---|
| DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) | Supplier arranges shipping and customs clearance; duties/taxes included where specified | Most consumer goods |
| Air Courier | Express door-to-door delivery via courier | Small to medium items |
| Air Freight | Bulk air shipment with local delivery | Medium-weight goods |
| Sea Freight (LCL) | Shared container sea shipping | Heavy or bulky items |
| FOB / EXW | Shipping arranged by freight forwarder after supplier dispatch | Experienced importers |
The pool page or post-MOQ confirmation will indicate which method applies.
3. Shipping Costs
- Shipping costs are finalized after MOQ is reached.
- Costs depend on weight, volume, destination, and shipping method.
- Buyers are informed of final shipping charges before dispatch.
4. Customs, Duties & Taxes
Responsibility depends on the shipping term:
- DDP: Duties and taxes are generally included (where specified).
- Other terms (FOB, EXW, etc.): Duties, taxes, and local customs fees may be payable by the buyer upon import.
Local regulations vary by country.
5. Delivery Times
Delivery times vary by method and destination:
| Method | Estimated Transit Time |
|---|---|
| Air Courier | ~5–10 business days |
| Air Freight | ~7–14 business days |
| Sea Freight | ~3–6 weeks |
Times are estimates and may be affected by customs, weather, or carrier delays.
6. Tracking
Tracking information is provided once goods are dispatched. Updates are supplied by the shipping carrier or logistics partner.
7. Delays
Delays may occur due to:
- Customs inspections
- Port congestion
- Carrier or airline schedule changes
- Weather or unforeseen events
MOQ Pools assists in coordination but does not control carrier operations.
8. Damaged or Lost Shipments
If goods are damaged or lost:
- Report the issue to Support as soon as possible.
- Provide photos and shipment details.
- We will coordinate with the supplier and logistics provider to resolve the issue.
- Claims may require documentation and carrier review.
9. Split Shipments
In some cases, items in a pool may ship separately due to packaging or logistics constraints. Tracking will be provided for each shipment.
10. Role of MOQ Pools
MOQ Pools:
- Coordinates group purchasing
- Provides shipping transparency and updates
