Frequently Asked Questions

How our pooling platform and sourcing agents work for you.

Getting Started

What is MOQ Pools?

A consolidated pooling and sourcing platform. We aggregate buyer demand to hit factory MOQs, then assign dedicated sourcing agents who handle supplier negotiation, QC, production, and door-to-door logistics.

Do I need to sign up to browse?

No — you can browse all active pools, see prices, and check progress without an account. You only need to sign up when you want to reserve a spot.

Is there a minimum order quantity for me personally?

No. You choose a quantity within each pool's rules. The platform aggregates buyers so the group reaches the supplier MOQ together. You don't need to cover the full MOQ alone.

Is MOQ Pools only about hitting MOQ?

Pooling is how we aggregate demand, but we go further. Every pool gets an assigned sourcing agent who manages the full supply chain — supplier negotiation, factory QC, production tracking, and international logistics.

Payments & Protection

When am I charged?

Your payment method is authorized or held when you reserve a spot. Funds are only captured when the pool proceeds and you approve the final terms. You're not charged for a pool that doesn't fill.

Are there hidden platform fees?

No. Pricing, shipping costs, and any fees are shown before you confirm your reservation. Check each pool page and our Terms for full details.

What is the escrow-style payment system?

Payments are staged against milestones — not all released to the supplier at once. A portion may be released to start production; the remaining balance is held until key milestones (QC, shipping verification) are met.

Are my payments secure?

All payments are processed via Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment processor. Your card details are never stored on our servers.

Pools & MOQ

How does a pool work?

You browse pools, pick a quantity, and reserve your spot. Other buyers join until the MOQ target is met. Once filled, terms are reconfirmed, your agent is assigned, and production begins.

What if a pool doesn't reach MOQ?

The pool expires. All reserved funds are fully refunded automatically. No supplier is paid. You don't need to do anything.

Can I cancel my reservation?

Yes — before the pool reaches its MOQ and terms are locked. Once execution begins, changes follow our standard refund policy. Contact support before the pool closes if you need to make adjustments.

What if supplier terms change after filling?

Buyers are notified. MOQ Pools may cancel the pool and issue full refunds if terms change materially from what was originally shown. No execution happens without your knowledge.

How long does it take for a pool to fill?

Anywhere from days to weeks, depending on product demand and MOQ size. Each pool shows a deadline and live progress so you can track it.

Shipping & Logistics

How is shipping handled?

Shipping method, cost, and estimated timeline are shown on each pool before you join. Many pools ship directly to each buyer's address with tracking. Shipping is split across pool participants based on order size and destination.

How do I track my order?

Through your account Orders and Tracking pages. You also receive email updates at key milestones and when tracking numbers are available.

What if something is wrong with my shipment?

Contact support with photos and details. We work with suppliers and carriers to resolve issues per our refund and buyer protection policies.

What shipping terms do you use (DDP, FOB)?

Shipping incoterms vary by pool. Each pool discloses the method before you join. See our Shipping FAQ for a full breakdown of DDP, FOB, and EXW terms.

Sourcing Agents & Process

What does a sourcing agent do?

Once a pool fills, a dedicated agent handles everything: supplier communication, quality control inspections, production tracking, freight coordination, and delivery logistics on your behalf.

Do you inspect factories or guarantee quality?

We confirm documented specifications and coordinate with verified suppliers. We don't guarantee factory performance — results can vary. Independent inspections may be arranged for certain orders.

Who are your suppliers?

We work with verified factories and trading companies. Each pool discloses supplier type (factory vs. trading company) and verification status so you can review it before joining.

Where is MOQ Pools based?

MOQ Pools was built in China and serves buyers globally. We coordinate pooling and manage supplier relationships to reduce cross-border sourcing risk for international buyers.
